Terms of Service

Effective date: July 25, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Citenix (the "Service"), available at citenix.com. The Service is operated by Citenix ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company, and "you" means that company.

1. The Service

Citenix is a software-as-a-service platform for search-engine and AI-engine visibility: site crawling and technical audits, keyword research and rank tracking, content analysis, visitor analytics for your own websites, and AI visibility measurement (how AI assistants and AI search surfaces mention and cite your brand). Features vary by plan and evolve over time.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service.
  • We offer optional two-factor authentication; we recommend enabling it.

3. Acceptable use — crawling and analysis

The Service crawls and analyzes websites at your direction. You agree to:

  • only crawl, track, or analyze websites that you own, operate, or are authorized to work on (e.g. a client site under an agreement that permits it);
  • not use the Service to overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any website or system;
  • not resell, scrape, or bulk-export the Service's data to build a competing product;
  • not use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of third-party rights.

Our crawler honors robots.txt directives and applies rate limits designed to avoid burdening crawled sites. We may suspend crawls or accounts that we reasonably believe are abusive.

4. Plans, credits, and billing

  • Plans. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed in USD through Stripe, our payment processor. Card details are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers.
  • Credits. Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance that certain actions consume (e.g. keyword research, live SERP lookups, AI visibility runs). Credits reset at the start of each calendar month and do not roll over or convert to cash.
  • Renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing (Stripe customer portal); cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and your account then moves to the Free plan. Downgrades and plan switches are prorated by Stripe.
  • Refunds. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable; when you cancel, you keep access until the end of the paid period. If you believe you were billed in error, contact us at support@citenix.com within 30 days and we will review it in good faith.
  • Failed payments. If a renewal charge fails, Stripe retries per its schedule; if payment ultimately fails, your subscription is cancelled and your account moves to the Free plan.
  • Price changes. We may change plan prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

5. Your data

  • You retain all rights to the websites, content, and data you connect to the Service. We process them only to provide the Service to you.
  • We may use aggregated, anonymized usage data (never your identifiable site content or account data) to improve the Service's models and benchmarks.
  • You can delete your account at any time; see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

6. Measurements and estimates

SEO and AI-visibility measurement is inherently probabilistic. The Service is explicit about evidence quality — figures are labeled as measured, calibrated, or modeled — but all outputs are estimates and analyses, not guarantees. We do not promise any ranking position, AI citation, traffic level, or business outcome. AI engines change their behavior without notice, and results can vary between runs.

7. Third-party services

Parts of the Service rely on third-party providers (for example: payment processing by Stripe; cloud hosting by Amazon Web Services; AI models from providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and Perplexity; search data from DataForSEO; and Google APIs where you connect Search Console or Analytics). Their availability affects the related features, and your use of Google integrations is also subject to Google's terms.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. Reports and exports you generate from your own data are yours to use, including for your clients.

9. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided without an uptime guarantee. We may modify or discontinue features; if we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give paid subscribers reasonable notice and a pro-rata refund of any prepaid, unused period.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE (OR USD 100 IF YOU USE ONLY THE FREE PLAN).

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms (including the acceptable-use rules) after notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 5, 6, 8, 10, 11, and 14) survive.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give notice (e.g. by email or an in-app notice) at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Amman, Jordan, unless mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise.
